Irish Left With Ukraine – Neither Moscow nor Washington

Irish Left With Ukraine is a broad alliance campaigning on the war in Ukraine and related issues. We are from different political and party allegiances, though as it happens we have very much in common, and very much to distinguish us from a ‘left’ which refuses to offer solidarity and support to a victim of major imperialist aggression.

We cannot make recommendations in the upcoming elections. Except that we feel we must mention for your consideration three socialist candidates who have explicitly supported Ukraine: Rory Hearne (Midlands-Northwest Euro candidate), Brendan Ogle (Dublin Euro candidate) and John Lyons (Dublin Artane-Whitehall locals candidate).
